Portland
Is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been in. And they don't charge sales tax?!!!!!

Chi..just started reading your blog and I love it...I love the way you can turn a phase...I have lived in most of the places you blog bout...LA...SF...and now Portland....I agree it is beautiful, especially when it's sunny..to really see PDX shine you have to come in the summer..there is not a better place to be..cept maybe Tahoe...but I digress...Yes Tara Thai is the bomb (do people still say that??) and if you're in the Pearl District Sungari is fantastic Chinese..that is, if you like chinese.. :)) .. sorry, couldn't help myself.. hey...I had to watch the Laker game last night so you were pre-empted...any chance that you're show will be aired again soon? Let us know...n keep up the great work with the blog and on the tele... michael
I'll have to visit Portland one day soon. I've heard so many respected people speak highly of the city and area. I'm an nature-lover, so the lure of wood and water isn't lost on me. Clearly Portland is a place that puts you at-peace, so I'm happy you're able to make the trek to reconnect.
Chi Lan! You came to Portland and didn't even look me up. I was thinking of you the other day when I was napping in a park right in the middle of down town. Reminds me of how we used to do that in San Francisco. Miss you my friend and very happy to see you doing very well for yourself.
